With mandatory masking and social distancing altering classroom structure, teachers are looking for new ways to engage students. Thanks to a District 39 Educational Foundation Gripp Grant, our four elementary schools are making great use of the QBall, a throwable, foam-covered, wireless microphone used in classrooms. Teachers use the Qball to amplify their own voices but also to encourage students to share their ideas in a novel way. During these uncertain times, Qball is making learning fun for kids and letting voices be heard beyond the mask.
